After a test session, the first songwriting camp by profimusic started on July 25, 2023 in Novazzano (Ticino). Five years earlier, Roger Lustenberger acquired a large house in Novazzano for his company profimedia, which also includes profimusic, with the idea of creating interaction, setting people free and making creativity visible and tangible in a variety of ways. The company was expanded to include gioiAcasa as a guest apartment and the Restaurant Ticino, which also houses the offices of profimedia and the music work of profimusic. Before the first songwriting camp began, various renovations and extensions were carried out and further development was slowed down by a two-year pandemic with many challenges.
This made the joy of finally being able to start the songwriting camps in 2023 and implement one of the pillars of profimusic’s work in the original idea more exciting. In the meantime, several songwriting camps have already been held with songwriters and acts from Ticino, Zurich, Bern, St. Gallen, Mallorca, Italy and South Korea and new songs have been written for national and international acts.
