The year 2025 marks a decisive milestone for Doncare. With the EP “Weekend”, the Swiss musician, DJ, and producer initiated a clear turning point in his artistic journey. During an intensive songwriting camp with daSonic, new creative spaces opened up, allowing Doncare to develop fresh energy and a deeper musical self awareness. This phase laid the foundation for a sound that is clearly more mature and reveals new facets of his artistic identity.
In the months that followed, several songs were created that consistently expanded on this creative opening. A first peak of this development came in December with the recognition as “Artist of the Week” by the national radio station SRF Virus.
At the beginning of the new year, Doncare now releases the single “If You Wanna Get Loved”. The song combines emotional depth with dynamic energy, shaping a modern and compelling form of emotional dance music with strong pop appeal. It is a sound that carries, moves, and draws the listener directly into Doncare’s sonic world.
Doncare himself describes the central message of the song as follows: “The lyrics in the chorus sum up the core of the song: If you wanna get loved, start by loving yourself. This message is very important to me personally. I wanted to express it as honestly and accessibly as possible through the song’s dynamics and sound.”

Das Jahr 2025 markiert für Doncare einen entscheidenden Meilenstein.
