His debut was a fascinating fireworks display of diverse musical styles, while the second work «One Color» by South Korean artist Crayon 88 marked the end of his studies and, at the same time, the beginning of an exciting new chapter.
After completing his master’s degree in “Popular Music” in Germany, Crayon 88 returned to his homeland last summer to devote himself fully to his work as an artist and producer.
Now back in South Korea, he presents his third album as another bouquet of his graduation projects. On «TABU», set for release on 22 May 2026, he focuses entirely on pop music. The first single, «Goodbye» with Tova Oh, is the fitting soundtrack to his farewell to Germany.

War sein Debüt noch ein faszinierendes Feuerwerk unterschiedlichster Musikstile, markierte das zweite Werk «One Color» des südkoreanischen Künstlers Crayon 88 das Ende seiner Studienzeit und zugleich den Aufbruch in ein neues Kapitel.
Nach dem Abschluss seines Masterstudiums in „Populärer Musik“ in Deutschland kehrte Crayon 88 im vergangenen Sommer in seine Heimat zurück, um sich voll und ganz seiner Arbeit als Künstler und Produzent zu widmen.
Nun, zurück in Südkorea, präsentiert er mit seinem dritten Album einen weiteren Blumenstrauss seiner Abschlussarbeiten. Auf «TABU», das am 22. Mai 2026 erscheint, richtet er den Fokus konsequent auf Popmusik. Die erste Single «Goodbye» ist der passende Soundtrack zu seinem Abschied von Deutschland.
