His debut album was a fascinating firework of diverse musical styles, while his second work, “One Color,” marked both the completion of his studies and the beginning of an exciting new chapter for the South Korean artist Crayon 88.
After earning his master’s degree in pop music in Germany, Crayon 88 returned to his homeland last summer to fully dedicate himself to his work as an artist and producer. He is now presenting his third album in South Korea as another homage to his graduation projects. On “TABU,” which will be released on May 22, 2026, he focuses entirely on pop music. With the third single “Real,” we hear creative alternative pop with influences of trendy hyperpop.

Nach seinem Masterabschluss in „Popmusik“ in Deutschland kehrte Crayon 88 im vergangenen Sommer in seine Heimat zurück, um sich ganz seiner Arbeit als Künstler und Produzent zu widmen. Nun präsentiert er in Südkorea sein drittes Album als eine weitere Hommage an seine Abschlussprojekte. Auf „TABU“, das am 22. Mai 2026 erscheint, konzentriert er sich ganz auf Popmusik.
