It’s been four years since Sara Serio’s last album “dararap”. But the Swiss lady with Italian roots has by no means been idle. The album “dararap”, spiced up with latin sounds, opened up the doors to both North and South America for Sara Serio. In the meantime she has been on tour in America twice, has had many shows and made connections.
These experiences prompted Sara Serio to record her favorite songs in Spanish and publish them together with other Italian songs from her albums “Vicino a Te” and “dararap” on the album “Dime”. For this album, the arrangements for almost all the songs have been reworked and enriched with new ideas, for example the featuring of Shoek for the song “dararap”.
The album was produced in collaboration with Ralf Guske on drums (Xavier Naidoo, Soehne Mannheims, etc.), Marc Ebermann on bass (Scorpions, etc.), Klaus Bittner on guitars, Sebastian Studnitzky on trumpet (Mezzoforte, etc.), Matthias Heimlicher on keyboards and Mark Douthit on saxophone (Amy Grant, Larry Carlton, Dann Huff, etc.). The Pretoria String Ensemble from South Africa lends the album an additional special touch. It also features Lidia Genta, Sara Taccardi, Cristian Mangano, Alba Lenzo-Mangano, Nathalie Muhl-Gibbs and Shoek , some of them as backing vocals. Matthias Heimlicher was responsible for the production.

GERMAN
Bereits vier Jahre sind seit dem letzten Album “dararap” von Sara Serio vergangen. Die Schweizerin mit italienischen Wurzeln ist jedoch keineswegs untätig gewesen. Das mit Latinsounds gewürzte Album “dararap” öffnete dazumal für Sara Serio die Türen nach Süd- und Nordamerika. Mittlerweile war sie zweimal in Amerika auf Reisen, hatte viele Auftritte und knüpfte Kontakte.
Diese Erfahrungen veranlasste Sara Serio ihre beliebtesten Songs in spanischer Sprache aufzunehmen und zusammen mit weiteren italienischen Songs, von ihren beiden Alben “Vicino a Te” und “dararap”, auf dem Album “Dime” zu veröffentlichen. Dabei wurde bei fast allen Songs die Arrangements überarbeitet und mit neuen Ideen, wie zum Beispiel das Featuring mit Shoek beim Song “dararap”, bereichert.
Das Album entstand in Zusammenarbeit mit Ralf Gustke an den Drums (Xavier Naidoo, Söhne Mannheim, usw.), Marc Ebermann am Bass (Scorpions, usw.), Klaus Bittner an den Guitars, Sebastian Studnitzky an der Trompete (Mezzoforte, usw.), Matthias Heimlicher an den Keyboards und Mark Douthit am Sax (Amy Grant, Larry Carlton, Dann Huff, usw.). Eine besondere Note verleiht dem Album zudem das Pretoria String Ensemble aus Süd Afrika. Als Featuring und Backingvocals waren Lidia Genta, Sara Taccardi, Cristian Mangano, Alba Lenzo-Mangano, Nathalie Muhl-Gibbs und Shoek dabei. Produziert wurde das Album von Matthias Heimlicher.

Seit dem 28. Oktober 2011 ist das Album „dararap“ überall im Handel erhältlich. Es ist ein farbenprächtiges Werk welches in Zusammenarbeit mit Ralf Gustke an den Drums (Xavier Naidoo, Söhne Mannheim, usw.), Marc Ebermann am Bass (Scorpions, usw.), Klaus Bittner an den Guitars, Sebastian Studnitzky an der Trompete (Mezzoforte, usw.), Matthias Heimlicher an den Keyboards und Mark Douthit am Sax (Amy Grant, Larry Carlton, Dann Huff, usw.) entstand. Eine besondere Note verleiht dem Album zudem das Pretoria String Ensemble. Produziert wurde das Album von Matthias Heimlicher.

ITALIAN
Dal 28 ottobre 2011, l’album “dararap” è disponibile nei negozi di tutto il mondo. In questo variopinto lavoro emergono le collaborazioni con Ralf Gustke alla batteria (Xavier Naidoo, Söhne Mannheim, ecc), Marc Ebermann al basso (Scorpions, ecc), Klaus Bittner alle chitarre, Sebastian Studnitzky alla tromba (mezzo forte, ecc), Matthias Heimlicher alle tastiere e Mark Douthit al sax (Amy Grant, Larry Carlton, Dann Huff, ecc). Una nota speciale è data inoltre dalla presenza nell’album del Pretoria String Ensemble. L’album è stato prodotto da Matthias Heimlicher.

Am 10. September 2011 wurde die Single „dararap“ vom Label profimusic veröffentlicht. Der Song mit verschiedensten musikalischen Einflüssen, insbesondere mit einem Hauch Salsa, infisziert den Zuhörer sofort mit dem „dararap“. Ein frecher und fröhlicher Song, gerade richtig bei dem sich zu Ende neigenden Sommer. Es stellt sich die Frage was „dararap“ eigentlich ist? Die Lösung erkennt man gleich selber, wenn einem nach dem Anhören des Songs immer mal wieder, in bestimmten Situationen, ein „dararap“ über die Lippen kommt.

Il 10 Settembre 2011 è stato pubblicato il singolo “dararap” dall’etichetta profimusic. La canzone presenta diverse influenze musicali, tra le quali un pizzico di salsa. Un brano allegro e impertinente che giunge proprio alla fine dell’estate contagiando immediatamente l’ascoltatore con l’affermazione “dararap”. Ma che cosa significa in realtà “dararap”? La soluzione la si può trovare da soli se dopo aver ascoltato più e più più volte questo pezzo, in particolari situazioni della vita ci si troverà con un “dararap” sulla punta della lingua.
