F. Way from Ticino titled their debut album “Anything but new” with self-irony. The title plays with the fact of the long preparation phase up to the release of the album and with the fact that F. Way do not really invent something new with their Pop Rock music, but play a well-known music genre.
But what has unfortunately been forgotten nowadays, F. Way have paid special attention. With the songs the whole picture of the album was always kept in mind and so also the true origin of a music album was taken into account.
The album “Anything but new” contains eleven titles, all written by the band members Fabiano Wildi and Andrea Rusconi. It is therefore obvious that the songs tell a very personal story of their lives and this is certainly one of the reasons why the album “Anything but new” is an emotionally charged and powerful work.
The album was arranged by Marco Guarnerio and Jonas Macullo and recorded in the JDM studios of Jonas Macullo. Jonas Macullo and Andrea Cosentino are responsible for the mix and the album was mastered by Unorthodox Sounds (Andrea Cosentino).

I ticinesi F. Way hanno intitolato il loro album di debutto “Anything but new” con autoironia. Il titolo gioca sulla lunga fase di preparazione dell’album e sul fatto che il genere proposto dagli F. Way non sia niente di nuovo, un genere pop rock ben conosciuto, ma con qualcosa di molto personale al suo interno.
Gli F. Way hanno prestato particolare attenzione a ciò che al giorno d’oggi purtroppo è stato dimenticato. A livello delle canzoni è sempre stata tenuta in considerazione l’intera immagine dell’album e così sono state riprese le vere origini di un album musicale.
L’album “Anything but new” contiene undici titoli, tutti scritti dai membri della band Fabiano Wild e Andrea Rusconi. “È quindi ovvio che le canzoni raccontano storie molto personali della loro vite e questo è certamente uno dei motivi per cui l’album “Anything but new” è un’opera emotivamente carica e forte.
L’album è stato arrangiato da Marco Guarnerio e Jonas Macullo e registrato nello studio JDM di Jonas Macullo. Jonas Macullo e Andrea Cosentino si sono occupati del mix e l’album è stato masterizzato da Unorthodox Sounds (Andrea Cosentino).

Selbstironisch betiteln die Tessiner F. Way ihr Debutalbum Titel “Anything but new”. Der Titel spielt mit der Tatsache der langen Vorbereitungsphase bis zur Veröffentlichung des Album und damit, dass F. Way mit ihrer Pop Rock Musik nicht wirklich etwas neues erfinden, sondern ein jedem bekanntes Musik Genre bespielen.
Was jedoch heutzutage leider in Vergessenheit geraten ist, haben F. Way besonderes Augenmerk gelegt. Bei den Songs wurde immer das gesamte Bild des Album im Auge behalten und so auch dem wahren Ursprung eines Musikalbums Rechnung getragen.
Elf Titel enthält das Album “Anything but new”, welche alle von den Bandmitgliedern Fabiano Wildi und Andrea Rusconi geschrieben wurden. Es ist daher auch naheliegend, dass die Songs sehr persönlich aus ihrem Leben erzählen und auch sicherlich dies ein Grund ist, dass mit dem Album “Anything but new” ein emotionsgeladenes starkes Werk entstanden ist.
Arrangiert wurde das Album von Marco Guarnerio, sowie Jonas Macullo und aufgenommen in den JDM Studios von Jonas Macullo. Für den Mix ist Jonas Macullo und Andrea Cosentino verantwortlich und gemastert wurde das Album von Unorthodox Sounds (Andrea Cosentino).

On June 21st, the long awaited debut Album ANYTHING BUT NEW of the Swiss Band F. Way will be released.
After the first two Rock Ballads IF SHADOWS and SWEET AND SOUR, FIGHTER is now the third energic single by the emergent upcoming Band from Ticino. The song expresses in particular the will of F. Way to pursue in their musical path. This specific will, enriched with courage and a lot of energy, will take them once again to Ukraine and Russia this summer. The song FIGHTER is all about being yourself and believing in what you do.

Am 21. Juni erscheint mit ANYTHING BUT NEW das mit spannung erwartete Debutalbum von F. Way. Nach den ersten beiden Rockballaden IF SHADOWS und SWEET AND SOUR folgt nun mit FIGTHER eine energiegeladene dritte Single der aufstrebenden Band aus dem Tessin. Der Song drückt insbesondere den Willen von F. Way aus, ihren eingeschlagenen musikalischen Weg konsequent weiter zu verfolgen. Dieser Wille, Mut und Energie führt sie auch dieses Jahr wieder bis in die Ukraine und Russland auf die Bühnen von grossen Festivals.
Im Song FIGHTER geht es darum immer sich selbst zu sein und an das zu glauben was man tut. Dazu Bandleader Febo: “Die einzige Meinung die zählt ist deine eigene und die einzige echte Sache die zählt ist gut mit dir selbst zu sein.”

Dopo le prime due rock ballads IF SHADOWS e SWEET AND SOUR, FIGTHER è il terzo energico singolo dell’emergente band ticinese. Il brano esprime in particolare la volontà degli F. Way di perseguire con perseveranza il loro percorso musicale. Questa volontà, il coraggio e l’energia condurranno loro in Ucraina e Russia sui palcoscenici dei grandi festival anche quest’anno.

Sweet and Sour

SWEET AND SOUR is the second single from the upcoming album by F. Way. The first single is already played by many radio stations and reached number 8 of the airplay charts in the Italian part of Switzerland!
Together with SWEET AND SOUR was also produced a music video, which tells the story of the song. It describes the story of a couple who are together from young to old and are still happy together in spite of high and low. All according to the motto: Sweet and Sour.

SWEET AND SOUR ist die zweite Single ab dem kommenden Album von F. Way. Die erste Single wird bereits von vielen Radiostationen gespielt und erreichte unter anderem im italienischen Teil der Schweiz Platz 8 der Airplay Charts! Zu SWEET AND SOUR wurde auch ein Musikvideo produziert, welches anhand der Story die Thematik des Songs erzählt. Darin ist die Geschichte eines Paares zu sehen, welches trotz Höhen und Tiefen glücklich ist und von jung bis alt gemeinsam durch das Leben geht. Ganz nach dem Motto: Sweet and Sour.

Fabiano, Andrea, Eveline and Marco are F. Way, four rockers from the South part of Switzerland drawn together by a shared passion for Bruce Springsteen and The Rolling Stones. After three singles and an EP in 2017, F. Way had a lot of concerts and were often on stage in Switzerland but also in countries like Ukraine and Russia. With the single “If Shadows”, on the 8th of March F. Way are releasing their first single from the upcoming album “Anything But New”, which will be released on the 31st of May 2019.

The second single “Valery” was released in June 2016, including the first music video of the band F. Way. “Valery” is played by SRF3, Rete Tre, Radio 3i, Radio Fiume and other radio stations. The music video is transmited, amongst others, by the Swiss television. After two powerful rock songs F. Way is going to publish a wonderful rock ballad. It’s still an unexplored side to them, but the big potential of the young group from Ticino is absolutely recognizable. Also the third single was produced by Jonas Macullo and arranged by Marco Guarnerio.
Friendship consists in sharing the good, but also the bad times. Unfortunatly often we notice this only when we have already lost our friends. “None Of Us” tells us that it is important to be aware of this and to don’t leave anybody alone.

GERMAN
Bei Freundschaften geht es darum die schönen aber auch die schlechten Momente zu teilen. Sich dies bewusst zu sein und niemanden alleine zu lassen, um dieses Thema geht es beim Song „None Of Us“.
Nach zwei kraftvollen Rocksongs veröffentlichen F. Way mit „None Of Us“ eine wunderschöne Rockballade. Es ist eine ihrer noch unerforschten Seiten, aber man erkennt auch bei diesem Song das grosse Potential dieser jungen Truppe aus dem Kanton Tessin. Die dritte Single wurde wiederum von Jonas Macullo produziert und für das Arrangement wurde Marco Guarnerio an Bord geholt.

Way’s first music video has been released for this song, created by iwishproductions in Zurich. In the video, the band around lead singer Fabiano Wildi tries to bring the message of the song “Valery” home to a running beauty. Already the first single “Taking All My Fears Away” was added to the playlists of many radio stations and the media wrote very positively about the newcomers from the canton of Ticino. The new single distinguishes itself again by powerful singing and strong, complex sound. The four young Ticinesi have an extraordinary gift for radiating the fascination of rock music.

Mit „Valery“ folgte am 10. Juni 2016 die zweite Single von F. Way, welche von Jonas Macullo produziert und von Marco Guarnerio arrangiert wurde. Zu diesem Song wird das erste Musikvideo von F. Way veröffentlicht, welches in Zürich von iwishproductions gedreht wurde. Dabei versucht die Band, rund um den Frontsänger Fabiano Wildi, einer rennenden Schönheit die Botschaft des Songs „Valery“ näher zu bringen. Bereits die erste Single „Taking All My Fears Away“ wurde von vielen Radios in die Playlists aufgenommen und die Medien berichteten sehr positiv über die Newcomer aus dem Kanton Tessin. Die neue Single zeichnet sich wiederum durch kräftigen Gesang und starken, vielschichtigen Sound aus. Die vier jungen Tessiner verstehen es sehr eindrücklich die Faszination der Rockmusik zu versprühen.

Taking All My Fears Away

Not much happens in Ticino during winter usually. Maybe it is for this very reason that four musicians got together on a cold winter night in the year 2014 with the vision to cause a stir with English-language Rock, not just in Ticino but beyond. United under the name F. Way, Fabiano Wildi (vocals and guitar), Andrea Rusconi (guitar and vocals), Andrea Sampaio (bass and backing vocals) and Roberto Bianchetti (percussion) started writing songs and doing concerts together. With a lot of energy and passion they did everything they could to continually evolve their skills and gain as much live and studio experience as possible. This started paying of quickly. Already in October 2015 they got to celebrate their first success when they won the FOFT MUSIC competition and shortly after signed a label contract with profimedia in December. At the same time the four promising musicians went to a studio to record their first own songs. On April 15, 2016, their first single will be released with ‘Taking All My Fears Away’, produced by Jonas Macullo and arranged by Marco Guarnerio. With Fabiano Wildi’s powerful voice and sound song-writing, the four Ticinesi emerge with a loud bang that will certainly be heard across the alps.
