Michael Borth is a Los Angeles-based DJ and producer creating cinematic melodic house for the moments between sunset and sunrise.

His journey began unexpectedly through Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. The game’s iconic 80s soundtrack sparked a lifelong fascination with music, ultimately setting him on a path from playing guitar and curating playlists to producing his own records and bringing them to life behind the decks.

From Poland, through the UK, and now the US, Borth draws inspiration from different cultures to shape a global electronic sound that blends emotion, nostalgia, and movement. His music lives at the intersection of club energy and timeless pop storytelling, where shimmering synths, deep grooves, and human vulnerability coexist.

Beginning with rhythm-driven house productions, he gradually evolved into a more cinematic and melodic direction. Influenced by his roots as a guitarist, his love for 80s aesthetics, and his fascination with the hours between sunset and sunrise, he developed the concept of “Afterlight”—a world where sunset, the night, and the sunrise intertwine to create a soundtrack not only for the destination but for the journey itself. It is a space where reflection, movement, and endless possibilities converge.
